*Ward Centers to Support 2013 Goodwill Goes GLAM! Fashion Show

Honolulu, Hawaii (February 8, 2013) — Goodwill Industries of Hawaii announced that  Ward Centers will be the fashion show presenting sponsor at the 2013 gala event – Bank of Hawaii presents Goodwill Goes GLAM! The Gala and VIP Presale will be held on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013 followed by public GLAM! Sale days from Sept. 20 -22, 2013. The four day event takes place at the Neal S. Blaisdell Exhibition Hall.

Last year, more than 700 people were in attendance at the highly anticipated eco-friendly fashion show titled, The Elements of Goodwill emceed by notable journalist Paula Rath.

Katie Ka‘anapu, Ward Centers’ senior marketing manager shares; “We are excited to partner with Goodwill during their gala event. This year, we’ve supported their Dell Reconnect computer e-waste recycling drive and we’ve seen how they put their mission into action. Through the Goodwill GLAM! Squad volunteer program, industry experts have been able to mentor up-and-coming fashion industry professionals, while supporting businesses in Kaka‘ako through community service and event participation.”
