[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Goodwill Hawaii has gotten the green light to open up a charter school in West Oahu. The State Public Charter School Commission approved application this week to open in the first Goodwill charter school inside their building on Lauwiliwili Street in Kapolei, making Hawai‘i the fourteenth state to feature a Goodwill charter school.
As of now admission will be limited to students in the Kapolei area, and the school’s capacity will be capped at 100 students. Katy Chen is the Chief Administrative Officer for Goodwill Hawaii. She says the school will specialize in smaller classroom sizes for students that struggle in larger schools.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]
