Goodwill Hawaii is celebrating 60 years of service in Hawaii with the 2019 Goodwill Goes GLAM! event. The weekend of shopping kicks off with a Fashion Show and VIP Presale on Thursday, July 18, at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall followed by The GLAM! Sale through the weekend, July 20 – 22.
Goodwill Goes GLAM! is now in its 8th year of raising awareness for Goodwill Hawaii’s job training, education and support services that help disadvantaged people find meaningful employment. More than $400,000 was raised at Goodwill Goes GLAM! in 2018, and Goodwill Hawaii was able to assist more than 12,000 individuals statewide.
Themed “Legacy,” legendary local designer Anne Namba will be this year’s fashion show producer. The designer is also celebrating her 30th anniversary and will pair donated pieces from her past collections with Goodwill finds to honor Goodwill Hawaii’s 60th anniversary.
