Honolulu, Hawaii – Goodwill Hawaii is pleased to announce Hawai‘i-based fashion and lifestyle designer Valerie Joseph as the featured producer and creative director for the 15th annual Goodwill Goes GLAM! Fashion Show presented by Bank of Hawai‘i Foundation. The annual Gala and Fashion Show set for July 16, 2026 at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall will kick off Goodwill Hawaii’s three-day fundraising event to support the nonprofit organization’s mission of helping people become self-sufficient through the power of work.
This year, Valerie Joseph will bring her signature POSHd experience to the Goodwill Goes GLAM! Runway, reimagining secondhand style as an intentional, elevated lifestyle – rooted in confidence, creativity, and connection. The evening will feature live Broadway-style performances by international song artist Kristian Lei alongside the Honolulu Broadway Babies, as well as high-energy choreography from HKM (Hawai‘i Krump Movement).
“More than a fashion show, POSHd is a celebration of sustainability, creativity, and community, and I’m excited to showcase what’s possible when fashion is led with purpose,” said Joseph. “I’m honored to be working alongside Goodwill Hawaii to inspire the community to shop secondhand and remind us that fashion, like people, deserves a second chance to shine,” added Joseph.
“We are excited to be celebrating 15 years of Goodwill Goes GLAM!, none of which would have been possible without the incredible support of our community and people like Valerie Joseph,” said Katy Chen, Goodwill Hawaii president and CEO. “For 15 years, designers, volunteers, sponsors, and attendees have come together to believe in the power of creativity, sustainability, and opportunity. We are deeply grateful for everyone who has supported this event and helped transform fashion into meaningful impact for our local community.”
Beyond the runway, the POSHd experience will extend to the GLAM! Sale featuring a curated space designed for connection, inspiration, and discovery. Valerie Joseph will be on hand to share lifestyle and styling insights while showcasing her selections of fashion and home accents sourced from Goodwill.
Joseph, a Hawaiʻi-based lifestyle designer, creative director, and producer, specializes in fashion-led storytelling, experiential runway production, and community-centered creative concepts. Her work bridges high-fashion aesthetics with purpose-driven narratives, creating elevated experiences that resonate with diverse audiences. She is also the creator and host of the television series Fashion Sense by Valerie where she curates fashion, beauty, wellness, and lifestyle content with an emphasis on accessibility and inspiration. Now entering its 14th season, the show is broadcast on Spectrum OC16 and YouTube.
Event sponsorships and individual tickets to attend the opening night Gala and Fashion Show on Thursday, July 16 are available for purchase and feature a special three-course dinner menu. Gala attendees will also have first access to shop the GLAM! Sale, opening immediately following the fashion show and will feature the looks from the runway, name-brand fashions and accessories, vintage housewares, and one-of-a-kind collectibles. The GLAM! Sale will continue July 17-18 with free admission and other special activities and promotions.
